Bruce Norman

Bruce Norman, owner of PPM, was first introduced to NM in the summer of '73 when he became the first tennis pro at the Bishop's Lodge in Santa Fe. After graduating from Claremont Men's College in 1974 with a degree in Economics. & Psychology, and traveling the country, he moved to Los Alamos in the spring of 1975 when he and a friend purchased a small bicycle shop, added tennis equipment, and String's 'N Spokes was born. Bruce left Strings 'N Spokes after growing the business and became a real estate broker in 1980. He became a real estate appraiser in the mid-80's and then sold that business so he could open a Farmers Insurance Agency.

While engaged in these businesses Bruce had been acquiring a few rental units until he decided, in the mid 1990's, to devote his full attention to managing his rental properties. Bruce then put a partnership together and purchased The Chapel Apartments. This partnership went on to purchase La Mesa Mobile Home Park, The Cottonwoods and Ponderosa Pines and together with the Iris St. Apts. and Tres Casitas, which Bruce owns, Plateau Property Management has become the largest landlord in Los Alamos.

Bruce is the proud father of two son's as well as a step daughter and step son. He is married and enjoys golf, hiking, reading and staying active.

Mike has been a part of the Cap Investors/ Plateau Property Management team since 2009. He has a background in real estate, general construction and maintenance, and marketing. He currently has a team of 10 employees that have a variety of skill sets from concrete and masonry, to construction and tile work. They have a vast knowledge of electrical, heating and air conditioning, plumbing, and grounds maintenance. As a team, we strive to make all our properties a clean, comfortable, and an enjoyable place for our tenants to live!

Our maintenance crew brings various and assorted talents, and skills, that enable us to handle just about any maintenance need that comes our way. From remodeling apartments, building playgrounds, fixing clogs and drips, maintaining furnaces and air conditioner units, landscape and lawn care, snow removal and the list goes on. Our crew is well equipped, and it is our goal to create and maintain an attractive, comfortable and safe home for you.
